It’s Francis, here.
Happy Friday, my friend.
You’ve made it.
Before you kick it hard this weekend and prepare for a flurry of Labor Day-related emails and promotions. (I promise you, it’s happening) — here’s what I see kickin’ some major ass in the digital nomad community.
In this edition of TNN, you’ll discover:
- How a dude from middle America helps you live the laid-back Portuguese lifestyle in the next 6 months.
- Former 1-episode House Hunters International Mega-Star shows you how to become a digital nomad
- I bet you didn’t know this was a thing — 5 Countries Offering Digital Nomad Visas
- Shameless self-promotion — a recent Medium article I wrote called, 5 Low Key Flexes That Can Make Entrepreneurs Jealous, got picked up by Medium’s largest publication, The Startup. Only read if you have an open mind and you’re not a Grant Cardone.
Moving Abroad Is 10x Easier Now Than It Ever Should Be —
I’m an escapist.
When I gotta go, I gotta go.
And with my intuition telling me to GTFO out of Budapest once and for all (5 years is a long time, eh?) — there’s only one person I go to. He’s an Expat Superman, I gotta tell you.
His name is David McNeill.
Davis is a Relocation Consultant who helps people pick their lives in one country and helps them move to the next. From the immigration paperwork, finding the perfect city and neighborhood to live in, and getting you set up with a trusted lawyer, he’s the man. He’s actually the dude who is helping me move from Budapest to Portugal — as a US citizen, born in the Philippines.
That’s a puzzle. But a puzzle only David can solve.
So if you’re looking to grab your sh*t and move elsewhere. Perhaps sunnier, chiller, and less Twitter-obsessed…
===>Hit him up here.
**I had a podcast interview w/ David a few weeks ago. I'll let you know when it goes live.
The Amelia Earhart of Digital Nomadism?
Showing People How To Work Remotely on YouTube?
She’s the OG of Digital Nomadism in my book.
The one-woman-band. The Lewis & Clark of remote work. The Amelia Earhart of showing 9 to 5ers how to work from anywhere. I’m talking about none other than Kristin Wilson of Badass Digital Nomads.
From “humble” beginnings getting her own episode on House Hunters International and spotlighted my YUUUUGE publications, like Bloomberg, ESPN, and others — Kristin is the go-to in the space if you want to get the ins and outs of working/living abroad.
===>Check out her YouTube Channel.
**If you want me to prove we actually know each other, check out my episode with Kristin.
5 Top-Of-Mind Countries Offering Digital
Nomad Visas To Pretty Much Everybody….
Moving abroad ain’t that hard.
It used to be some super stealth operation that cost an arm and a leg, integrity, and years of stress. Fortunately, now everyone can pretty much do it.
With remote work being the new hot girl in school and travel photos on IG as the greatest flex, countries are catching on. They want you to visit. They want you to stay. They want to make it 10x easier for you to do so.
Earlier this week, I did a quick write-up on Medium about 5 countries that offer digital nomad visas. There are actually a dozen countries or so doing this, but they don’t call them ‘digital nomad’ or ‘freelancer’ visas. If you do, you’ll likely get revoked or they’ll just hate on you.
(shoutout to my lawyer here in Hungary for that hot tip).

Freelance Writer Recovering From Burnout Tells You How To Live Your Life — An Article From Yours Truly
Maybe I was triggered by the constant barrage of screenshots on Facebook…
Or the dozen or so DMs I get from “coaches” telling me they can help me “organically” “grow” “my “ “audience”...Or the fancy photos on IG entrepreneurial FlexGods telling they rock with their rented lambos…Or YT video of a guru ordering me to be even more obsessed so even my unborn child will buy their course...
Whatever came over me, it just spilled out.
I wrote an article called, 5 Low Key Flexes That Can Make Entrepreneurs Jealous.
Inspired by my new emphasis on lifestyle entrepreneurship, writing for myself, and chillin’ when I wanna chill — this is for anyone who needs a little inspiration to just have a little more fun, damn it.
