Your Costa Rican Beach Dreams Are Waiting
With Open Arms — Here’s How To Make It Happen
On August 11th, 2021, the Costa Rican government passed a law allowing people all over the world to move to Costa Rica under the newly established Digital Nomad Visa.
Costa Rica joins a list of popular countries now offering new work-and-live opportunities, making it 10x easier to start homebases in stunning locations all over the world.
To be honest, they aren’t too different from other countries offering nomad visas.
Which is exciting, since you can gather these documents and “cherry-pick” your preferred location. I personally did something similar when I moved to Barcelona in 2015 and Budapest in 2016 (and onward)
I’ll feature these countries in future newsletters, so make sure you “star” this email so you don’t miss an update — plus, I’ll spotlight Relocation Experts who’ll literally guide you step-by-step to make the move even easier.

Give Her 90 Days & You’ll Be An Established Nomadic Freelancer
Launching Into Adventures Around The Globe
I’ll be honest.
Starting off as a freelancer isn’t easy. It’s 100x harder when you’re doing it alone. It’s scary. It’s overwhelming. It’s confusing. And there are a thousand reasons why aspiring freelancers stay stuck, and never make enough to maintain the freedom lifestyle they crave.
One of the bigger reasons is because many choose to start the journey all by themselves — which, by the way, is a huge mistake.
But that’s why today I’m pumped to introduce you to Andrae Smith, a digital nomad and founder of Work Wanderers.
She’s a freelancer with dedicated programs to help others transition into thriving and fully nomadic freelance careers. With her:
- 90-day Freelancer Freedom Program
- In-person retreats in Cape Town & Bali
- Online course, The Digital Nomad Bootcamp…
... You have a menu of exciting options to choose from that’ll accelerate your freelance nomad journey.
Andrae started her journey only 3 years ago, around the same time I did. Which, to be honest, isn’t very long.
But that goes to show you what can happen when you take a small step in the right direction. What could happen when you meet fellow business owners, nomads, and freelancers who are living the lifestyle you want. It only serves you and helps you reach your lifestyle goals even faster.

Story Time —
Meet Thriving Digital Nomads Every Week w/ The Digital Nomad Stories Podcast By Anne Claessen
Stories are the lifeblood of humanity. You may think that’s a little dramatic — but it’s true. Stories are how we pass on customs and culture, teach children, learn valuable lessons, share legacies, entertain ourselves, and create bonds with each other.
To tell stories is to be human.
From sitting around the fire as primitive humans to Hollywood blockbusters, stories captivate, compel, and call us to live vicariously through different characters, and inspire us to make our own personal stories just as exciting and amazing.
Thats why I love Anne Claessen’s Digital Nomad Stories. Because it spotlights inspiring, ultra-cool, and incredible stories of adventurers all over the world. It gives you evidence that working while traveling is doable and is done every day.
Not only will get everything from the inspiring to the funny to the cautionary — but you’ll also get helpful advice from people who “get it”. If you’re an aspiring nomad or just want to hear stories from passionate people without the constant pitch, then this is a must-listen.

Amazing. Nailed it.If you’re still reading this, then thank you so much for staying with me. This was a longer letter, but I just felt like I had so much to say. Writing these emails are seriously so much fun for me. I woke up every morning this week grateful I got to chat with some of the people mentioned in this email. It’s incredible knowing there are a bunch of weirdos around the world who are just as passionate about remote work and travel, as I am. And it’s pretty cool that if you’re here, then you are too. For that, I thank you. I hope you have a great weekend and I’ll connect with you again on Monday FrancisThe Nomad NewsletterPS: It looks like I had a small tech issue with this email account for the last week. So if you replied back to any of the last issues or in my Welcome email, please let me know by responding to this email or at firstname.lastname@example.org. I’ll send over my freebie if you’re still interested in it. Thanks again. Francis
